We think the goal is to become someone, but the universe can only be ours when we become no one.
- Jed McKenna
But what if the point of alignment is when you’re doing something you love, something which gives you immense joy, something you immerse yourself in, that you entirely lose track of time, space and any sense of self. A state of complete surrender to that experience of love and happiness, that you literally lose yourself. In that state, you are expanded, you are one with your environment, everything you say rings true, every joke is funny, every mannerism is light and carefree, you eyes take on a gleam, you are in your element and you become beautiful. The Universe is expressing itself through you.
I’m in this state when I’m being creative, either visualising, healing, painting, drawing or writing. As if the silent moments between the seconds converge and become deafeningly loud. The energy undulates back and forth, give and take, in a balanced rhythmic dance. I enter a space where there is no time and usually there is also no “me”. My mind gets out of the way. I’m not thinking. I’m just “being” a healer or a painter or a writer. I’m in my own little blissful world.
This place where you lose "yourself" is the authentic core of you. This is your point of “being”. Whatever you create, you focus, you desire, while you’re in this state is possibly the strongest most pure signal to the Universe that you can send out, because it isn’t diluted by any of the other usual thoughts floating around your field. Your point of being is your point of manifestation, your point of creation.
How you get there is different for each person. But ask yourself, is there one thing which you love doing, you can get lost doing it all day and don’t want to stop? Will this thing make you forget to eat meals? This is key, because whatever it is we love nourishes us and the doing is most times enough sustenance, we don't feel hunger. Can you harness and remember how your body, your sensations and your emotions feel? Lastly, are you able to transport yourself back to a memory of doing this thing you love and feel as if you’re there, sensing, tasting, smelling, being immersed in it? Fantastic!
You’ve got it, beautiful one. Now go forth and start creating.
