The entire body is hardwired to feel every emotion. And as it does so, our emotional challenges frequently show up as physical symptoms.
- David R Hamilton
Your body isn't the enemy. It's your partner. It's your friend. It holds all your energetic memories, in the form of place-markers. It contains all the good events and the traumatic, emotional events, specially those you haven't released. The symptoms of disease, these physical markers, represent lessons to learn and when sufficient inner work has been done, to clear.
We are more than our physical bodies. Holistically, the human body consists of multiple energetic bodies, each encapsulated within each other, with the outer subtle bodies vibrating at finer, higher frequencies and with the physical body being at the densest and slowest vibration. The outer subtle bodies are vibrating so fast that the naked eye cannot usually discern it. Some intuitives can see it, others can feel it, others can sense it and some can do all of the above.
When an event touches you strongly, it leaves an emotional imprint in your energetic field. If you keep going back over the event in your head, long after it has passed, you start to form an attachment to it. And if the emotional imprint is one of anger or fear, then the energy starts to coalesce and merge into a dense lower vibrational mass, frequently called an energy block. We feel these blocks initially as brief aches and pains in the body. However, if we continue to obsess about that event, hold the anger or the fear and let it stew within for some time, the blockage manifests into physical form and becomes disease in the body.
Some traumatic events that happen in childhood potently take hold within the energy field a long time after, sometimes tens of years after. It causes a blockage in the energy field and a predisposition in the physical body to weakness. I recently had a client come to me with painful bladder syndrome. This is the autoimmune version of urinary tract infection, of which there's no known western medical cure. It turns out that as a child, this client was specially sensitive and required a super strict routine, otherwise she became stressed and scared. Change wasn't received easily. When still as a child her family moved countries to Australia, she felt displaced and her childhood disrupted. In fact, it took a years for her to adjust to a new country as home. The energy of fear manifests as blockages in the kidney meridian, while anxiety is a blockage in the bladder meridian. Noting that when children, or for that matter, when anyone feels extreme fear, they tend to pee in their pants. As a grown-up this developed into her condition.
It's true. When our bodies let us down, we sometime hate it, despise it and we even attack it. We douse it with medicines which cover up the symptoms and only give us temporary relief. Perhaps a gentler approach is now being called. Talk to our bodies. Tune into the energy of the symptom and seek out the lessons to clear. Get assistance from an energy healer, reiki practitioner, kinesiologist, acupuncturist, etc. Don't stop taking the pills either, if the symptoms are severe. Let's face into the energetic wounds together and assist the healing, so you can be whole once more.
