I prefer nothing, unless it is true. - Socrates
But to be truly consciously free, to be constantly connected to your higher self and have the ability to flow where the energy takes you….free of attachment and judgment, you have to know how to destroy the self.
What do I mean by this? Our identity is a container we build over time, filled with thoughts, beliefs, labels and judgments we’ve formed from our childhood to our grown-up selves. It houses our expectations and our biases about our reality. It forms the outer boundaries of what we think we’re can expect and demand from the Universe. When you were a child asking to go play on the swings and your dad said okay only if you were a good girl…that there is the source of the belief that you only deserved to receive if you were good.
But there’s this awakening movement sweeping all at the moment. No matter where people are in their level of development, everyone is affected. It’s pushing those of us who want to dig deeper and push ourselves beyond what we thought we’re capable of. In order to see beyond the walls we built, we have to tear down our containers. Through a process of elimination, on our own or with assistance, we ask each aspect of our thoughts and beliefs. Is this still my truth? Do I still resonate with this belief? Does this judgement still support the new reality I want to create? And if it no longer does, let it go. Put it into you imaginary rubbish bin or flush it down the loo. Maybe write it down and set it to flame. One by one, slowly decimate all those beliefs that are stopping you from realising your desires. Until you feel you are done.
This is a long, exhausting and arduous process. Definitely not for the faint-hearted. And there are no short cuts. You can take it all the way to the very end and become a self-actualised being, revealing your god-self. Merge with the ineffable detached witness within. Or you can do it half-way, far enough to enable your reinvention. This is what I chose to do. Or you can go back and rebuild the same walls back up. Choose to be safe within the cocoon of the familiar.
There is no judgement. As this is a plane of free will, everyone eventually will get to wherever their ultimate destination, whether it’s through a direct straight line or a winding path.
Your present moment is where you’re meant to be.
