I could give you no advice by this: to go into yourself and to explore the depths where you life wells forth.
- Rainer Maria Rilke
Just tonight I answered what is my definition of being in a state of fun. In my experience, its a feeling of being alive, so much that every single cell in my body is throbbing with life. I'm positively vibrating with excitement. I'm ecstatically happy. Every pore on my skin is awake and aware, that I feel electric in the moment. I enter this state when I'm listening to music...and it becomes heightened again when I go to a live concert. I also feel this when I'm immersed painting another water colour piece or when I'm in the middle of an energy healing session.
It's the state when the ego relinquishes all control because it feels safe. It collapses into the state of complete surrender to experiencing love and happiness. We literally lose ourselves. In that state, we are expanded, we are one with our environment. Everything we say rings true, every joke is funny, every mannerism is light and carefree, our eyes take on a gleam, we are in our element and we become perfectly beautiful. The Universe is expressing itself through us....no filters.
This place where you lose "yourself" is the authentic core of you. This is your point of “being”. Whatever you create, you focus, you desire, while you’re in this state is possibly the strongest most pure signal to the Universe that you can send out, because it isn’t diluted by any of the other usual thoughts floating around your field. Your point of being is your point of creation, where you feel fully alive.
How you get there is different for each person. But ask yourself, is there one thing which you love doing, you can get lost doing it all day and don’t want to stop? Will this thing make you forget to eat meals? This is key, because whatever it is we love nourishes us and the doing is most times enough sustenance, we don't feel hunger. Can you harness and remember how your body, your sensations and your emotions feel? Lastly, are you able to transport yourself back to a memory of doing this thing you love and feel as if you’re there, sensing, tasting, smelling, being immersed in it? Fantastic!
This is what your soul is craving.
