Today's far-fetched dreams shall be tomorrow's fully manifested reality.

Its funny though that as children, nothing was off-limits. A cardboard box became a car, or a house, or a boat. Wide leaves became plates and sticks, cutlery. Our tall fence became a mountain and the little canal next to our house was a castle moat or an ocean. Everything was allowed to be whatever our delightful imagination could cook up.
School is where we start to define the walls of our containers. There are awesome schools and there are deplorable schools, but nevertheless for better or worse, when we started school the world suddenly became a smaller place. There were rules and a pecking order. We were told what was possible and what wasn’t. We were scored according to a scale of numbers created by some archaic dude. I remember a high school teacher telling me I had no talent for complex mathematics. And we became convinced our talents had boundaries. What??!! It’s shocking how deep the illusion and the brainwashing is.
Fortunately, I was one of those precocious kids who always had to prove people wrong. Ha ha! I knew the secret of the delusion of this world. I begged my mum to pay for a math tutor. I practiced twisting my brain into new ways of analysing things. I ended up in the top ten in my class that year in the highest grade of mathematics. And I ended up doing electrical engineering, because I’m a bit of a deranged sucker for punishment, lol.
When I went to work for a large corporate, I luckily received informal career mentorship from one of my bosses. He advised me that your boundaries are just the visible reaches of you talents. That’s all they are. Beyond the visible is the domain of potential, the slightly uncomfortable, the little bit scary and the secretly exciting. Just like when we were children discovering a new dark, rocky, overhang in the nearby park. We must gingerly, carefully, wiggle our way into it and look forward in eager expectation….not the trepidation of our grownup selves. To extend those boundaries.
Like travelling to the horizon, the edge of our destination keeps extending outward, beckoning us with its inviting secrets. So too our personal edges. This is the place of learning, of change, of expansion and of greatest achievement when we heed the call of the challenge.
Take heart, lovely ones, we are all standing on the precipice of our personal edges. Are you willing to take the leap?
