The pain shows you what's left to investigate.
- Byron Katie
Pain travels between the physical and the subtle bodies. The mental body tends to be objective in its reactions to events. If for example, someone shouted at you, you would react with the thought of "oh that person shouted at me!". A person who has developed a degree of conscious awareness will end their reactions there and will not go further. Perhaps they may respond back, but they'll choose their response as a separate event. But for the rest of us, the reaction will travel to the emotional body as "that person hurt me". Then it will quickly flow to the physical body, possibly in the stomach, as if someone has punched them in the belly. If you react to the event with "how dare you" whether you shout it out or you keep it in and unless you choose to release it, you've effectively got the beginnings of an energy block.
Those niggly pains in the body, the recurring neck aches, joint pains, headaches, migraines, toothaches...and perhaps the stuff that keeps repeating. Some people often seem to always break the same arm or the same ankle. I used to have a recurring injury in my right ankle which would go away and then come back. I thought I got it from jogging. It went away for a year or so, then I twisted the same ankle wearing heels, lol. The direction I was taking my life at the time wasn't right for me. It didn't support my beliefs inside but I kept going anyway, as I didn't know any better...resulting in my poor ankle! An energy block in the emotional and mental bodies compromises the physical body to the point where it weakens the energy shields, lowers the immunity and leaves the body easy to tip over into imbalance.
The aches and the symptoms your body is showing you are signposts to your growth. They may be minor, but they signal past beliefs and memories needing healing. They're asking to be noticed. Heed their message, lovelies.
